Her glamorous looks belie a driven with a brilliant mind and some would say a domineering personality. Stinger enlisted in the US Army in fall of 1973, and sent to intelligence school in 1975. She was later assigned to joint CIA military intelligence taskforce and worked with a cover identity (secretary) in the US embassy in West Berlin through the late 1970s analyzing raw intelligence and evaluating it for elevation. This established her reputation as a highly respected intelligence analyst and strategic planner. She understand Soviet tactics and doctrine, specializes in finding intelligence reports that deviate from the expected “norm” of enemy behavior.
