Marauder Task force: Retro-Ops and Kickstarter Pre-Launch
Grindstone Toys is excited to announce that we are partnering with the legendary Marauder “Gun-runners” to bring MARAUDER TASK FOCE: RETRO-OPS to the CALLSIGN: LONGBOW Kickstarter campaign later this year. These stretch goals starter with a simple premise: What would an MTF figure look like if it had been produced in the 1980s? That was our goal as we have taken some of Marauders best selling figures of all time and “retro-ized” the design to fit the LONGBOW astatic. These figures will play great will all of your favorite vintage figures!

LONGBOW Digital Comic Coming in 2022
Grindstone Toys is excited to announce that a CALLSIGN: LONGBOW™ comic is officially in development with the team from Broken Icon Comics! This enables us to tell the LONGBOW™ story alongside action figure releases and present a fuller vision of the world we’re building.
This comic will be an action packed introduction to the members of Team LONGBOW™ and their adversaries, setting them on a path for more adventures in the future. This first issue of the comic will be available as a free digital comic, and will be released either before or alongside the CALLSIGN: LONGBOW™ Series 1 Kickstarter (coming in 2022).

When John Kukovich saw Star Wars at the local drive-in, he was hooked. Science fiction and fantasy gave him worlds that allowed his imagination to soar. When the ARAH line of GI Joe hit the shelves, he had already started into military toys and models. Introducing Callsign: Longbow
CALLSIGN: LONGBOW is an upcoming line of all new, “Retro-Style”, O-ring action figures and accessories lunching a crowdfunding campaign in 2022, presented by Grindstone Toys.
Longbow draws inspiration from the various military O-ring action figures lines of the 1980s and 1990s as well as 1980s culture, classic action films, and Cold War fiction. Set during the closing years of the Cold War, the action-packed story follows a top-secret American covert operation unit as they battle the insidious forces of the Soviet Union and other threats they encounter along the way.
